Design Speed 350 Km/h, The Track Laying Of The Main Line Of Guangzhou-Shantou High-speed Railway Has Been Completed

The Guangzhou-Shantou High-speed Railway starts from Guangzhou Xintang Station and ends at Shanwei Station. It consists of eight stations, including Xintang (Guangzhou), Zengcheng South, Luofushan, Boluo, Huicheng South, Huidongnan, Shenshan and Shanwei, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a total length of about 203 kilometers. It connects Beijing-Guangzhou, Guangzhou-Shenzhen, Hangzhou-Shenzhen, Beijing-Hong Kong and other high-speed railways, and is an important part of the high-speed railway backbone network of the "Great Bay Area on the track".

In order to promote the construction of Guangzhou-Shantou High-speed Railway in a safe and high-quality way, China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. organized all participating units to carry out scientific construction, overcome difficulties, comprehensively strengthen the control of the construction process, continuously optimize the construction organization design, and fully promote the completion of each node project with quality and quantity guaranteed.

Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway is planned to be ready for operation within this year. After the line is completed and opened to traffic, the fastest running time of the train from Guangzhou to Shanwei will be reduced from the current 2 hours to less than 1 hour, which is of great significance to promote the integration of the eastern Guangdong region and the old revolutionary base areas into the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, create the "1-hour economic life circle" of Guangzhou and Shanwei, and promote the economic and social development and rural revitalization along the line.
