Track Laying Has Begun For The Northernmost High-speed Railway Under Construction in My Country

auThe Harbin-Yichun High-speed Railway is an extension of the Beijing-Harbin to Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao channel of my country's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. The line starts from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, passes through Suihua City, and ends in Yichun City. The main line is 318 kilometers long with a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour.

The Harbin-Yichun high-speed railway has nine stations along the entire line, including Harbin, Harbin North, Hulan North, Xinglong Town West, Suihua South, Qing'an South, Tieli, Riyuexia, and Yichun West.

At present, the track laying construction has started in the Tieli-Yichun section, and the Harbin-Tieli section has entered the beam erection and station building construction stage. In order to ensure the progress and quality of the construction, the Harbin Bureau Group Company organized the construction units to scientifically and reasonably arrange the construction period in combination with the local climate characteristics, increase the investment in materials and mechanical equipment, solve the problems of low temperature and short construction period in the high-altitude and cold areas, and ensure that the project is carried out as scheduled.

After the entire Harbin-Yichun high-speed railway is completed and opened to traffic, the time and space distances between the major urban agglomerations along the line will be greatly shortened. The passenger train running time from Harbin to Yichun will be shortened from the current 7 hours to about 2 hours, forming a "one-hour, two-hour" traffic circle centered on Harbin. It will be integrated into the national high-speed railway network via the Beijing-Harbin high-speed railway, continuously satisfying the people's yearning for a better travel experience.
