Australia's "railway revolution" is in full swing! Queensland allocated about $2.4 billion! Release of several new railway project plans.
The Queensland government has allocated a $3.5 billion for several new railway projects in the region, which will be constructed between 2022-23 and 2025-26.
This initiative of the palashchuk government is known as the "railway revolution", which is expected to create more than 5000 jobs.
With the support of the Australian government, the Queensland government and the Gold Coast City, about a $924million has been allocated to the Gold Coast light rail phase 3 project, which runs from broad beach south to Cape Burley.
The government has allocated a $876million for the Logan and Gold Coast fast track upgrading project, and a $489million for the first phase of beerburrum Nambour railway upgrading project, which will be jointly funded by the Australian government.
The fund also includes a $265million for the new generation of rolling stock, the installation of European train control system and the deployment of new signal network.
The Queensland Government's investment also includes a $261million for the new generation of rolling stock, automatic train operation and platform screen door interface project, and a $263million for the new generation of rolling stock program.
In addition, a $212million was provided for the Queensland train manufacturing program, which is part of the state's rolling stock manufacturing project. Camerondick, Minister of trade and investment of Queensland, said that the manufacturing of rolling stock in Queensland has supported the traditional manufacturing industry of many small and medium-sized enterprises in the supply chain.
