C. Usage and Maintenance

1. Check whether the connecting bolts of tamping frame and electric pick are normal, and whether the power plug, wire and socket are well connected.

2. Turn on the power and idle for one minute to see if it is normal. It can only be put into operation after normal operation.

3. Lower the pick 20-30mm away from the edge of the sleeper. The pick plate forms a 45 ° angle with the side line of the sleeper surface. When tamping, gradually enlarge the angle to about 80 ° and continuously extract the pick to make the ballast enter the bottom of the sleeper.

4. Do not tighten the wire during use to avoid wire breakage. When not in use, the wire should be well wound and stored in a ventilated warehouse. Pay attention to moisture-proof and do not throw the machine at will.

5. It is strictly forbidden to work in humid air and rainy days.

6. In continuous operation, the insulation resistance should be checked every week to ensure that the insulation resistance is greater than 7m Ω before operation.

7. The pickaxe body and pickaxe head shall be reassembled for 500 hours to clean up the dirt generated during the tamping operation.
