Rail Top Side Surface Grinding Machine

NGM-4.4II Rail Top Side Surface Grinding Machine is designed for grinding the burr around the thermit welding and the burr being generated due to rail wear. The machine works on both rail head and rail side. In the process of operating, the operating frame remains fixedly, just depending the rotation 90° of the petrol engine and the rack, the grinding operation of the rail top and the rail profile can be done. While operating, the handlers don’t use great force and bend down, alleviating labor intensity. The machine body is welded by high quality profile, featuring light weight, easy manipulation. It can be used to do the rough or precision rail profile grinding operation. It’s a dedicated device used to rail head grinding operation in railway maintenance.

Working Principle:

The machine is driven by the two stroke petrol engine, through the belt, to put the main shaft (grinding wheel) in motion. And through feed hand wheel, gear drives to generate displacement to drive the grinding wheel to realize the up and down feeding function.
