2. What are the provisions on the depth and width of side ditches in the Railway Line Repair Rules?
Answer: The depth of the side ditch shall not be less than 0.6m (dry and rainy or hard rock cutting can be reduced to 0.4m). The bottom width shall not be less than 0.4m.

Answer: The width of the track bed of the main line of the ordinary line is 3.1m, and that of the station line is 2.9m.

4. What are the torque regulations for gusset plate fasteners and spring bar fasteners?
Answer: The torque of gusset plate fasteners should be kept at 80-140N. m. The lower jaw of the middle front end of the elastic strip of the elastic strip fastener shall be close to the gauge baffle (no more than 1mm from the joint) or the torque shall be kept at 80-150N. m.
5. How is the bolt torque of common line connector specified?
Answer: The torque should be kept at 400N. m.
6. What are the provisions of the Railway Line Repair Rules for curve under superelevation and over superelevation?
Answer: Unbalanced superelevation of curve section shall not be greater than 75mm, 90mm under difficult conditions, 30mm under unbalanced superelevation and 50mm under difficult conditions.
7. What are the provisions for the torque of the common rail joint of the moveable turnout?
Answer: The ordinary rail joint of moveable turnout should use 10.9 bolts, and the torque should be kept at 700-900N. m.

Answer: The temperature stress type jointless track is generally composed of fixed zone, buffer zone and expansion zone.
9. What are the requirements for the bolt torque of the buffer zone of the jointless track?
Answer: The bolt torque of the buffer zone of the jointless track should be kept at 700-1100N. m.
10. What are the provisions for the length of the slope along the main line and the arrival-departure line when the frost damage pad is placed or removed on the line?
Answer: Put in or remove the frost damage pad on the line. On the main line and the arrival-departure line, the length of the slope shall be: the allowable speed of the line not more than 120km/h shall not be less than 600 times of the frost rise height.
